I've started to discover an amazing love for the Brett character in beers like Saison-Brett and Rayon Vert, not to mention lambics. Any relatively easy to obtain beers out there that really give Brett the spotlight?

I'm not a "Brett-expert" or anything, but I heard that Orval has some pretty good brett characteristics. I have no idea what brett is supposed to taste like, but I know Orval is damn delicious.

Generally speaking, I find beers made with only Brett aren't very good. There are some exceptions (like Sanctification), but usually if there's only brett without any other bugs it just ends up being gross to me.

I see where you're coming from and I (sort of) agree with you. I get the most enjoyment from beers with several strains but Brett up front.

    Get a case of Sofie.
Hide it from yourself, but put a note on it "Do not open until [today's date + 2 years]" just in case.
Repeat as needed for brett cravings.

Seizoen Bretta and Sanctification would top my short list.

You started off with a couple very good ones. I also very much liked Avery Fifteen, though that is long gone. For something cheap, Victory Helios is a beer with a good Brett character. The Jolly Pumpkin beers also have very nice Brett characters.

I think a few of the Jolly Pumpkin sours have Brett.

I'll give a strong second to the Avery Fifteen. Had my last one back in December and it was delicious!

Temptation is my favourite, for sure. Fresh, it's not quite as bretty as Sancti, but it's got a great brett character that doesn't dominate, but balances nicely with a pleasanty tart/fruity/wine/grape taste and pale malt flavour. I had a three y/o Temptation recently and it was even better, with a bit of a stronger brett presence.

For everyday value, though, you just can't beat Rayon Vert. It's not the best, but it's not far off, and is cheap and easy to find.

I think it's around 9-10. Not as cheap as, say, SNPA or some other (admittedly fantastic) beers, but for a brett beer, that's an unbeatable price.
