And for the beer cranks... But Is It Traditional? by Ope! Brewing Company in West Allis, WI. It's a Kolsch, but is it really if it's not made in or around Koln?
Yes. It's a Kolsch! And I will die on the hill for American Pilsner. It's a sub-style that is a stumbling block for purists. Like, "if it's not from the Champagne region of France then it's Sparkling Wine" kind of attitude. Completely and utterly ignored.

Miller should open a small brewery in the accept champagne producing region and produce "The Biere of Champagne"

One more The tap room was in Owego Just remembered another, from Beer Tree : Boysen Back In Town A boysenberry sour IPA . They didn't say but it tasted as if it had Michigan Copper in it. Balanced the rest ~perfectly. Unfortunately a one-off. (I did have the song going through my head when I drank it. ) Ah ...... just found Dunkel Cletus photo.

I always liked La Cumbre's "Beer" They started making it at a time when craft adjunct lagers weren't really a thing, and it tells the right story.
Reminds me that Southern Tier had two. As far as I could tell it was the same beer , just gave it different names each time they did it. (& I wish they would brew it again. It was good.) Why The Helles Not? Where The Helles Summer?
