I really love White Birch's Berliner; they also make a blueberry and a raspberry version which are fantastic. Definitely on the tart end of the spectrum, but that's how I like 'em!

Also a shout out to a local brewery, Rivertown, which makes Nice Melons, a delicious fruited Berliner.

Great thread to keep in mind w all the beers listed! When I got into craft beer i was all about the IPAs, now my faborite style is Hefeweizens and Berliners. Noon whistle facesmack is a local brewery by me and i cannot get enough of that stuff! Tried Jacks Abbey cranberry berliner and it was tasty as well. Still facesmack for my favorite though.

I definitely have to agree on DFH Festina Peche - awesome stuff for sure and my first ever of the style years ago and although it's a local, I would also add Breakside's Passionfruit Sour Ale. Cheers!

This is become one of my favorite styles of beer in the past couple years for sure, definitely my favorite kind of sour beer. I would have to agree on De Garde's Weiss' and also the Bruery's (Fruet and also Hottenroth) but also in my top would have to include Telegraph Brewing's Reserve Wheat. I find myself coming back to this one, especially now that this style has picked up popularity and becoming harder to find, I almost have to buy it if I see it.

Usually this style doesn't hurt the wallet too bad also, I can pick up this guy or a bottle of Hottenroth for a fairly cheap price. Its among Bruery's most affordable brews. A 22 ounce bottle goes down easy without feeling the need to split it with someone else and can hardly be called a sour in some instances which is easy on folks like me who are prone to heartburn most of the time.

I'll second the Jack's Abby Cranberry and the White Birch Berliner, less so the raspberry and blueberry ones though the wife liked the raspberry. Evil Twin Nomader Weiss is also good, especially for price and availability.
