Right now, literally, I'm drinking a wonderful Brown Ale infused with coconuts... Bolo from Burial Brewing... Mmmmm!

Ale Asylum did that on their most recent seasonal:

I drink a lot of Fat Squirrel when it's in season, and Madtown Nut Brown during the rest of the year. I've also enjoyed Avery's Ellie, CCB Maduro, and Tommyknocker's Maple Nut Brown.
A couple of local monster brown ales I didn't see mentioned:
Black Husky Big Buck Brown Ale
Ale Asylum Pantheon (so excited for this to get bottled this year!)

I kind of like brown ales but there aren't many great versions around. Maybe one day breweries will start focusing more on this style.

Pretty Things 1955 Double Brown was awesome, just really tasty all around.

St Botolphs Town from Pretty Things is my lock down brown ale...

I also like to keep some Peoples Pint Brown around to keep some fresh brown on hand at all times. Although, I don't drink brown as much as I used to...

Newcastle, not New Castle. And yes, like many brewers they use 'colouring'.

I've gotten away from brown's quite a bit but two that come to mind that I did enjoy was Tumbler and a local one - Legend's Brown.

Newcastle got me hooked on the style, but it's no longer in my regular rotation. For years, Big Rock Traditional was my go to, with the occasional Wild arose Brown for good measure. My top 3 in recent memory would be

    1. Moose Drool
    2. Clown Shoes Brown Angel
    3. Rogue Hazelnut Brown

Massively underrated style! Love me some brown ale. I'm a big fan of Avery Ellie's Brown, Dark Horse Boffo Brown, and Legend's XX Anniversary Imperial Brown was probably one of their best beers. It was like cookie dough.
