speaking of crude labels, there's another brown ale I saw and I can't for the life of me place it anywhere. The label is also a cartoony pic of a brewer filtering beer through skidmarked underwear a la the DFH Randallizer. Anyone know what this is?

New to Ba, so this is my first offering. Love me a good brown ale. Best brown I've had on tap is the Bur Oak Brown out of Columbia, MO. Another brown that I had nearly 20 years ago and still remember to this day as being outstanding is the Oregon Nut Brown. Not sure if it is even around anymore, but if it is would love to find it.

 

Big Sky Moose Drool - Old school sentimental favorite; one of the beers that got me into craft.

DFH Indian Brown - It's hard for me to consider this a brown ale because it's so very hoppy, but it's a damn good beer no matter how it's classified.

Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar - It's a pretty great beer, I'd probably buy a lot more of it (among a few of their others) if their owner wasn't a complete asshat.

* I can't wait to try SN Tumbler. I missed out last year unfortunately. I like me some tasty brown ales

I've heard Jobu's pretty good, but never got around to it.

 

I think there should be a new category called India Brown Ale. That way when you go buy a brown ale you know its going to be hoppy.
