I had 08 recently at Brick Store Pub that's my #1. I'm expecting Stone RIS to be the first case I buy if the price is right, and then I'ma age the heck out of it.

Peruvian Morning is tasty, but not my favorite as well. In fact all of CW's impy stouts are pretty darn good, however I wish they were a bit more full-bodied. Aging a few Bourbon Barrel Stouts this year to see what a bit of age does... Picking a favorite impy stout is darn near impossible...

There are way too many to pick a favorite!

Raspy Anniversary, Ivan, BA Plead the Fifth, Abyss, BCBS(Rare, vanilla, coffee, & regular), CBS, KBS, Berserker Stout, Peruvian Morning, Yeti(regular, chocolate, oaked, & expresso) & CW 1414. Just to name a few!

Deschutes Abyss & Firestone Walker Parabola. I would like to add The Bruery's Black Tuesday, even though I have had very little of the beer, it simply blew my mind.

So many that I love but if I had to choose just one, I would go with Stone's

I'd say right not it's the Abyss. Love that beer. I am still a huge fan of Storm King and wish I could get more of Kern River Class V Stout. Class V is a totally underrated Impy that was amazing fresh.

I would open it the anise really isn't all that powerful now that we are coming up on a year since it was bottled.

And I got two bottles of my all time favorite "Big Black Voodoo Daddy" If you haven't tried it then I recommend you track it down. I had one last night and it was amazing, and I challenge anyone to find such a great imperial stout (keep in mind similar to 12.5% and this balanced) for $8.99 a bomber. Makes me want to grab a case.

Ow and notable is Founders RIS. Better and cheaper than Ten Fidy at 12.99 a four pack and it is quite tasty. Seen they stocked a case at my local Giant Eagle I happily threw the money down for two four packs. Great RIS.

Dragonstooth is very good, but I think that's an oatmeal stout, not an imperial stout.

To keep it simple I'll go with my favorite readily available imperial stout, Ten FIDY. Wasn't a big fan of it the first time I had it, now most others seem weak in comparison.

Brooklyn Black Chocolate is the only RIS I've ever tried and liked. Old Rasputin is # 3 in my list of the absolute WORST brews I ever drain poured!!

Hard for me to argue with Old Rasputin, the value you get for that price is unbelievable. Such a well made beer and it is easily accessible. A rare combo sometimes.
