Your favorite Imperial Stout?

now throw a four pack in the cellar for a year. sooooooooooooooooooo good.

Hunahpu by a little while. followed by Founders IRS, KBS, Ten FIDY, and The Abyss.

 

The big guns for me: Stone's RIS, Founders RIS, Alesmith's Speedway Stout, or Old Rasputin. I can always find of these around.
My fancy stouts are the Peche Mortel and the Beer Geek Brunch Weasel (Calvados edition).

 

Best I have so far was Darkness 11'. Blew me away, more favorable than anything I have had including, Abyss, any BCBS, KBS, CBS, FIS, anything San Diego - anything!

 

Mine goes like this:

1. Founders Breakfast Stout (Fresh Only)
2. Founders IRS
3. Stone IRS
4. Dark Horse Plead The 5th
5. KBS

I wish I could have tried CBS before I had about 10 beers at the Black Party. I might have actually tasted it and had it in my list... DFH WWS is amazing as well, but hard to get and too pricey. I do have 3 in the fridge though... I only tried Speedway stout once at the KBS release and know that it was stellar, but I would have to have it again in order to put it on the list.

 

Founder's Imperial Stout is absolutely delicious.

 

Deschutes The Abyss, Founders Breakfast Stout and Founders Imperial Stout are my absolutely favorites.
