Your favorite local, fresh beer

    I've really started getting obsessed with fresh local beers after my first trip to Night Shift, and I'm wondering - where you live, what is the beer that you really, really love to get freshly canned/bottled/growlered? I look forward to Night Shift Whirlpool, and have thoroughly enjoyed some Tree House Lights On. They're both great beers, but I think they gain something significant by my drinking them fresh.

    What's your fresh local fave?

    I get a lot of Bell's 2H and Sculpin very fresh, so they're probably my top pick for very fresh (less than 2 weeks). Sorry, not local, especially when I can have these other beers just as fresh. San Diego is close anyway, so that's local enough. :wink:

    The one that is always available, Fat Heads Head Hunter. This brewery does hops extremely well, and I am able to get all their fresh hoppy offerings fairly easy.

    I'm very lucky....within 10 minutes I have Monkish, Smog City, Absolution, King Harbor, Strand, and El Segundo.

    No shortage of local fresh beer....growlers aplenty on the weekend!

    I like HD'nR when I can get it, but SNPA is $11.99 a 12-pack at Harris-Teeter, so I really don't care. Fine with me.
    On another note, I would love to thank @WesMantooth for all of the cool BIF beers, but just now for the last of Marsha's Homemade Premium Quality Buckeyes. Martha and I just had the last two and they were delicious. Thanks again sir.

    Big Dtich brewing Hayburner IPA. They don't bottle it. Draft only. So good. I wish others could try this outside the Buffalo area as its a fantastic IPA

    Right now, it's Orpheus Transmigration of Souls, followed by Three Taverns A Night on Ponce.

    Just felt the need to get that in before all the Georgia people show up to say Creature Comforts Tropicalia. LOL

    Pretty much any fresh, hoppy offering from either Toppling Goliath or 515 Brewing. World class, especially when uber fresh. Even better on tap at their respective taprooms.
