    And you could recommend?

The craft pilsners I've tried before all seemed pretty tasteless. But last night I had a Lagunitas Czech Style Pils last night which had some good flavor. I just want a break sometimes from the hoppy and/or heavy full-flavored brews, especially in the summer.

What are be some of your choices?

Prima pils by victory at 5.3% is as outstanding as its rating states.

Urquell is probably the best one I've found that's easily attainable. Prima Pils if you're looking for a hoppier pils.

Train your palate to recognize subtle malt and yeast profiles, y'know, something other than just hops.

I love Lagunitas Pils, great stuff. Also like North Coast's Scrimshaw, Weihenstephaner Pils, and Oskar Blue's Mama's Little Yellow Pils.

My preferences run to German style rather than the Czech style. In the Czech style I do enjoy the Pilsener Urquell. In the German style I mostly drink Troeg's Sunshine Pils, Sly Fox Pikeland Pils, Stoudts Pils and Victory's Prima Pils. One or more of these can be found in my fridge year round.

But you should also plan on taking a break from very hoppy or heavily flavored beers. Part of the reason a Pils may not give you much flavor is that you may have palate fatigue. Also Pils styles in general are lighter in flavor than what you describe as what you normally drink and the Pils styles rely on lighter, more subtle flavor combinations. For example, if you drink a Pils then drink an IPA you'll taste and might enjoy both. Drink an IPA and then a Pils and the Pils will seem pretty flavorless.

One of my personal favorites is The Crisp by Sixpoint. As others have mentioned, Pivo Pils by FW and Prima Pils by Victory are both solid brews as well! Cheers!

FW Pivo Hoppy Pils, GL The Wright Pils, Victory Prima Pils, and SN Summerfest have been in my fridge nonstop since it got warm. Honorable mentions to a couple of classics Pilsner Urquell and Stiegl Pils. With all pilsners freshness is key so be sure to check those dates.

Haven't tried crisp but six point continues to impress the beer community especially the intro to resin. Crisp is next on my list.

Jever for the win. Make sure the green bottles are away from light. A case in an unopened box will be awesome.
