As many others, i'd point to Founders All Day, Lagunitas DayTime and Stone Go-To as ones that I am into. Well made and not lacking in the hops/flavor department. If you change the marketing/name of these beers they would be just as well enjoyed by those who enjoy them, and probably less divisive with those who are vocal about their opposition. It is all in the name I guess.

Lakefront's Extended Play is excellent. Lagunitas Daytime also solid. Wisconsin Brewing Company's is ok. Those are really the only 3 of the ones I have had that have stood out

While I personally understand that and have no problem with it, at times I find it hard to believe when you see brewery X who makes a $9 six pack of 7% IPA then charges $9 for a bomber of imperial stout.

Not a huge fan of the style but the two that stick out to me that I have enjoyed are:

    1. Kuhnhenn's Fluffer
    2. Short's Prolonged Enjoyment

On a side note I just blatantly cannot understand how All Day IPA gets so much love on this site. I cannot stand it and the majority of my craft drinking friends are not fans either.

I prefer my IPAs to be on the heavier side, but I've appreciated:

    Stone GoTo
    Short's Dr. Zeus
    Kuhnhenn Fluffer
    Blue Point's Mosaic IPA
    Black Diamond MOEsaic Session IPA
    Green Flash Jibe Session
    New Belgium Slow Ride

The best IMO have already been named: Boat and Sunshine Dream bury anything else I've had in this sub-category. Unfortunately, can't get either in my neck of the woods..

All Day IPA, if for no other reason its readily available at grocery stores in a 15pk, often on sale for $13.99-$15.99. Always check the packaging date, gotta be fresh or no bueno.

Surprisingly, the Sam Adams Rebel Rider wasn't bad and available in 12pks at a reasonable price.

I wasn't a fan of either Stone Go-To and NB Slow Ride, didn't care for the high level of bitterness or the additions of Simcoe hops.

Session IPA's aren't going anywhere. Hopefully uptight beer snobs will go the way of the Dodo

I love Hill Farmstead Walden, but I typically have Carton Boat or Founders All Day.

I don't understand the love for Founders All Day IPA. I am a huge fan of their beers, but All Day is a big time loser.

Just take a bottle/can of any IPA/DIPA. Pour have in a glass and fill the rest with water. Gently stir and you have a Sessions IPA. Why pay same prices as you would for an IPA/DIPA 4- 6-pack?

Stone Go To is my favorite. The first time I tried it someone handed me a glass and I found out after the fact it was a session beer. If you can't tell it's a session IPA in a blind taste test, then its a winner.

Founders All Day and Lagunitas Daytime are favorites as well. Most of the other session IPAs I've tried were not very good in my opinion. Usually clearly thin or lacking in flavor and just not a good balanced beer.

If you are paying $10 for a sixer you are doing it wrong, part of the reason I mentioned Founders All Day 15pks, which works out to about $6-$7/6pk. Needless to say, if I was going to look at it as a "bang for my buck" perspective, maybe cheap whiskey or vodka is the route to go?

When its 85 degrees out and I want to have a beer out on the deck, I'm certainly not going to try and nurse a DIPA that will end up a tepid 75 degrees halfway through the pour.
