I would have to say IPA's. DIPA's are always hit or miss. Recently I had DFH 60 Min and it was so much better than any DIPA I've had in recent times. Even better than the bottled variety. What style do you favor over the bottled counterpart?? I also love Irish Dry Stouts, and Russian Imperial Stouts. What should I be seeking out here in NYC on tap?? Thanks!!

    It's a toss-up between IPAs and Stouts.

To me, saisons are much better on tap. I've been known to change my rating of a saison after having it on tap.

LOVE saisons on tap, especially this time of year. I find them to be more refreshing than most other styles, and while I love DIPAs and stouts as much as the next man, I can relax and drink two or three saisons without feeling like my feet have turned to cement.

Belgian sours. I just love Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour Ale on draught. That is heaven on earth.

I personally prefer pretty much any beer on tap, it just seems much fresher to me and the flavors are more prominent. I would say that the absolute best though, would be pretty much any IPA or DIPA.

Pilsners and in particular the Victory Braumeister series of Pilsners which are only available on draft.

    Cheers!

Aren't saisons best bottle conditioned? I couldn't imagine Dupont being as good pasteurized filtered and force carbonated.

My favourite beer on tap is Rodenbach Grand Cru. Soley because that is the only version of Grand Cru that is exported unpasteurized.

    Stouts, always stouts.
Although, IPAs like Pliny are much better on tap.

Any particular examples? Or just the style in general. I guess I'll give draught saisons a try, I usually avoid them.

Not so much a style, but the one beer I really notice a difference between tap and bottle is Fresh Squeezed. This stuff is soooooo much better on tap.
