Undoubtedly, Guinness. My first REAL stout was on my 21st birthday where, at midnight, I pounded a bottle of Brooklyn Black Chocolate. It was disgusting at the time, but I have since accepted and learned the error of my young, foolish ways.

Mine was Guinness. Probably 25-30 years ago and I still like it. It still holds it's own in this world of craft beers.

Guinness. Still drink it when no good craft options are available and St Patty's Day

I remember it like it was yesterday. 2001 at Founders. I had only ever had Corona, miller lite and budweiser. My friend took me there, we got a pitcher of this thick black concoction called "Breakfast Stout." I said, "there is no way I'm drinking that." He said, "just try it," I fell in love with craft beer and have never looked back

I believe a few people may have said this one already, but mine was Guinness as well. Loved it immediately. The dark roastiness was awesome and so different from anything else I had at the time. There have been many other stouts since....bigger, darker, and stronger, but Guinness will always hold a special place for me.

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout circa 1988/89. Sheaf Stout came shortly after, then Guinness Extra. Actually, I miss the Guinness. It was the best beer the local grocery stocked 20 years ago.

First stout ever was Guinness for me as well. Depending on the circumstances, I still revert back to it when I want to enjoy a solid beer with low calories.

Left Hand Milk Stout was my first... before I had any interest in beer at all.

My cousin, who is quite a bit older than me, gave me a little bit of Guinness Extra Stout when I was a kid, maybe 11 or 12. We're of an Irish background, so having an Irish beer was exciting, although, admittedly, I didn't really enjoy it. I didn't have it again until I was 21 but I haven't looked back since. Although there are much better stouts, I still love me some Guinness.

After about a year of drinking Guinness, the second stout I ever tried was Founders Breakfast Stout, so, yeah. It was quite the transition.

My first stout was a Coffee Stout served at a beer festival in Estes Park, CO back in 1999. That was my first real taste of craft apart from Fat Tire, Sam Adams, etc. I never knew beer could taste like that and I have been hooked ever since then.

JK, I feel like Guinness was pretty much everybody's first stout. I guess I tasted it the first time when I was maybe 16 or so? Not sure really
