Cuvee de Jacobins Rouge. The first time I had it: "this is really weird." The second time I had it: "I can't believe they make sour beers, what an interesting concept." The third time: SWOON

Can't say it was just one, but it was certainly Wicked Weed. I stopped by the funkatorium shortly after it opened to try these sours beers I'd heard about. I got a flight, but mainly stuck to brett beers. I started talking to the bartender and she started pouring me tasters of many of the sours they had on. Tried serenity, genesis, pompoen, and several others that afternoon. When I left there I was a changed man...my mind had just been blown and my beer drinking would never be the same again. Always have a stash of sours around these days. I can't get enough of them!

Duchesse De Bourgogne was the first one that really sucked me into the world of sours!

Until I had Beatification on draft, everything just tasted sour.

I worked at a beer bar for 5 years, Petrus Aged Pale was always my go-to for introducing the idea our sour beer to customers. Always solid, easily available, reasonably priced and a good "gateway" to a palate not familiar with sours.
Along the same reasoning as Rodenbach Grand Cru which has been mentioned several times.

Prolly Sour in the Rye. Or at least that was the set up punch. Then 3F Oude Geuze came in and delivered the knockout. Dang it, now I'm salivating for some OG...

Cantillon Gueuze was my first, after stumbling across the brewery before I knew anything about them. The first sip was really strange to me, but after a couple of glasses I was hooked.

Isn't that the same beer as their Pentagram? I have a bottle of that waiting for me.

I had both Boon and Lindemans Gueuze back in the late 90's. Both were sweetened, but at least expanded my mind a bit.
I think the one that really won me over was La Folie. 2003'ish - back when it was only available in Ft. Collins.
