Can you name these beers? Haven't seen any Armenian beers here in NYC. Are they brewed in Armenia?

I'm not sure which ones they drank, but you shouldn't have much trouble finding Kilikia or Kotayk, both are Euro lagers that are brewed in Armenia. Are there any Armenian or Russian market stores around where you're at?

My dad on the other hand, has been pounding Pilsner Urquells (along with the Armenian brews i mentioned) ever since i can remember.

I never saw my dad's dad drink, but my mom's was a Miller guy, I remember going with him to the store to pick up 30 boxes of MGD, then later on High Life. He always had a beer either next to him or waiting for him in the fridge.

My grandfather has been sober for about 30 years, but when he did drink, it was Genessee Cream Ale.

Old Milwaukee Red. I remember my friend's Dad once suggesting that Michelob was for ''fancy occasions" and was also "golf beer." My friend's dad was/is a piece of shit.

No question, it was Carling Black Label... pull tabs cans. Once he got on up in age it was room temp Budweiser - 6 to 12 a day.

He was a BUD man without question. Owned a bunch of stock in it as well and actually paid for college for all 4 grandkids with what he made on that. I guess I owe my education to Budweiser. :stuck_out_tongue:

My Mom's father was a proud Newfoundlander, independent as they come. He and my great uncle Harry used to brew their own beer. One of their favorites was a partridge berry beer. I was lucky enough to come across a local brewer from Newfoundland who had his Mom send him partridge berries from home, so that he could brew this beer. It is an amazing blond beer with a nice tart finish.

"Dad" (what we called him) and Harry were well ahead of their time. Good on ye lads.

Grandpa went for the Hamm's when I was young and then for some ridiculous reason switched it up to Mickey's Hornets in his later years.
