Medalla Light.
At $8 the 12-pack is the best option for the beach when you're in PR.

 

Negra Modelo. When it comes to pairing any sort of Mexican fare with easily accessible beer, this is my go to. I even used it as an answer on the Cicerone exam.

 

Dos Equis amber

 

Two come to mind:
-Blue Moon's Oatmeal Cappuccino Stout (love that thing)
-Stag

 

Coors Light. My go to beer for cottage late nights when I want to wake up the next day or even later that day without a hangover.

Bohemia when I'm at my local Mexican restaurant.

I stopped worrying about how others rate beer long, long ago...if I like it I drink it. I'm a geek, not a snob.

That said, I'll add some celery salt to a Budweiser Chelada every now and then.

 

Dos Equis lager, my intro into "craft" beer. Which basically means it was the first beer I ever had that wasn't one of the big boys. I also don't mind a land shark every now and then but those are even fewer and farther in between.

 

Natty Boh. It probably has much more to do with the memories of old friends than it does with the taste, but I do genuinely enjoy it when I'm having it.

Tecate with Mexican Food and in the summertime, those damned Twisted Teas (not a beer, but worthy of a guilty pleasure mention)

 

Previously, I could have said MGD, but now I only drink craft. There are too many great beers and so little time.

 

Definitely a Corona Extra bottle with a slice of lime. Corona on it's own is not great but a slice of lime does it wonders.
I like to think of it more as a "cocktail" although that's not technically correct.

Speaking from personal experience, a six pack of Corona bottles, a lime, and a hot day on a Mexican beach is real hard to compete with

 

Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. Have no shame on this one, can put back a ton on a nice summer day.

 

No guilty pleasures, I like Pabst sometimes, I like Tecate with Mexican food as well , I like BCBS As a nightcap. Every beer has its place even if it's as simple as a hot July day and a frosted mug on Miller Lite. Well every beer except Steel Reserve ...yuck.
