The counter argument would be that this also isn't "who cares, it's alcohol, so dome it" advocate. There's something to be said for being discerning and drinking for taste instead of doing anything to catch a buzz. After all, if getting loaded is one's only aim, might as well buy generic grain alcohol instead. The taste is roughly as unpleasant as a Budweiser, but it takes much less to get you drink.

If it's taking space in your fridge and someone (BA, family, guest) is drinking it, then why not. If you are taking up valuable fridge space for crap nobody is drinking, then by all means get it out of there and make room for something good.

Only ashamed of the out-of-code beer in my fridge that I just never got around to drinking in time. :slight_frown: Never buy more than what you drink guys! Unless you have friends over :grinning:

Not ashamed of anything in my fridge. I usually keep Bud Lite and Coors for my less discriminating friends and my Wife will occasionally drink a Michelob Ultra. If anyone cares, these are easily outnumbered by the selection of Stouts and IPA's! My House, My Rules!

Bad home brews can be the worst, especially you have to dink it in front of the brewer and pretend that you like it. I have a cousin who went through a home brew phase for a while. Thank God he moved on to other hobbies.

I'm ashamed to say I have a three year old can of some spiced winter ale that no one ever drank still sitting in the back of our fridge. It came in one of those mixed packs and was the dud of the bunch. At one point we were thinking of using it to cook with but at this point it should probably just be thrown out. As for being ashamed of keeping a certain type of sub-par beer stocked, I'd have to agree that shame is a stupid way to describe it. My brother should be ashamed though, last time he went on a brewery tour it was some really shitty macro place that sells bottles for $1 CAD each on site, him and his buddys bought 16 flats (24s) all together but accidently only paid for 12. :grinning: Still got some of those lingering in our fridge I think.

Not really ashamed of any of the beer, but I hate buying ab owned beer and picked up some goose island because it was really cheap. So it would be goose Oktoberfest, which is actually a really good beer, 312 and honkers.
I also had a few black cherry mikes hard lemonades, but I drank those shamelessly.

Last year I bought a six of that after trying it on tap. The more I drank the less I liked it, but somehow that's the six carrier I keep in my fridge full of an assortment of good beers. I really should replace it with KBS and FBS carriers, or something else I actually like.

I am too much of an Arrogant Beer Snob to have a sub par beer in my Fridge Thank you Very Much! Life is indeed too damned short to put up with swill. Enough Said. Cheers to all my fellow Hop Heads out there , presently enjoying an Stone Ruination 2.0 I had to drive 125 miles one way to Bozeman, Mt to purchase . Worth every mile of it too.

As far as beer, nothing.... Anything goes with me.. If it's tasty, I don't give a f×*k what anyone else thinks...
