My girlfriend likes most types of beer, but she's still in the "macro go-to" phase. She's not quite bridged the gap between having a light lager for a no-brainer session and reaching for a Kolsch or a Wheat beer.

So right now, my fridge has a case of Natty Ice.

    How about you?

Not ashamed of any . . . not a single solitary one. Beer in all forms is one of the good things in life.

I'm not ashamed of any, they each have their time and place. Even the macros and highly fruited beers.

I try my hardest not to support the macro brewers so I am ashamed that my wife only likes Blue Moon and no other. I have tried everything to find a true craft substitute but she hasn't found one. Macros harm craft beer and are not okay. Just my opinion and I'm sticking with it.

Ciders, wine coolers, and Mike's are a waste of fridge space. Family buys them because they sound good in the store, then drink one and leave the rest in the fridge. Finally took them all out so I have more room for real beer.

I would not be ashamed of any beer to be honest because even a bad beer is better than no beer!

No such thing. Life is too short to be ashamed of enjoying something that many other people also enjoy.

I keep bud select in my fridge, I like it and am not at all ashamed. The only beers I'm ashamed of are ones I forget about that are best fresh and I forgot about and drank past their prime.

I'm having a BBQ tomorrow with a bunch of non craft beer drinkers and I went to my local bottle shop today. Picked up a couple of 12 packs of Bud Light and Bud light lime... And 2x 120 IPAs. Guy at the register looked at me funny, lol

A buddy came over a few days ago, and left a bud 40 in my fridge.

I have a bad history with bud, so I am very unhappy that it's sitting in my fridge.

Come on. Is this really a thing these day? People are ashamed of beer that is in their refrigerator?

Sorry, I can' t even relate to this.

Sounds similar to me. 12 pack of Dos Equis and Stella, followed by some four pack IPAs, four pack of FBS, and a few overpriced bombers. I'm of the belief that you can teeter on both extremes as long as you don't care what others think about you.

I guess it begs the question though. When I do look at what other people are buying, they are usually head deep into the macro stuff, import stuff, or local craft scene... Really no in between for far too many. So maybe the looks you get are somewhat justified. I tend to "enjoy" them all every step of the way.. Just today, dude buys three bud ICE 12 packs.. Nothing else.. Family buys two cases of Corona. Nothing else. Another guy buys three local craft sixers.. Nothing else. Then here I am buying a whole blend of stuff.. Screw em. It's my money.
    --------
-I think I have a Schlitz bull ice from a year or two back hidden in the back of the fridge. I will admit to being ashamed of that one (It was a gag gift and its sitting right next to some KBS and BCBS).
-That and a family members love for Pumpkin beers. I can't get down with those at all. She buys them and 4 months later, I tend to do a fridge cleaning phase and my body tends to be the dumpster

Two bombers of PseudoSue and a tallboy of Molotov Lite. I'm ashamed because they've been in there for a long time.

I don't keep beer in my fridge that I don't like and even if I did I wouldn't be ashamed of it. It's just a beverage (granted one that I love deeply).

Not so much ashamed as, well, mildly embarrassed as I sip it and love it yet wonder what Founders is *really* putting in that beer ... beer or raspberry soda?
