Don't you drive then? You can be over the DUI limit the next day if you aren't careful.

I picked the 7.5 - 10% category since I rarely drink one after another. Couldn't go with the 4 - 7.5% category since I rarely if ever have anything under 6% these days. My drinking yesterday [Sunday]. Had a 8.5% beer with lunch. Did some work around the house for an hour or so. Had two more 7.5s. Waited another 45 min. or so and had another 8.5. Had 2 more 7.5s after dinner. It seems that when I'm home and when I've had one after another, it has more of an effect than when I'm out and have one after another so I tend to space them out more at home.

I honestly feel that the ABV is the least important quality of any beer. I have had very low ABV beers that packed a serious punch in flavor and some really boozy stuff that somehow managed to taste weak and insepid. I will always go for the more flavorful option, and usually that means more alcohol.

I like my big beers (stouts & barleywines), so I prefer my abv to be in the 9-12% range.

Boozy alcohol heat doesnt bother me...
