Your ideal drinking session

I pretty much lived it at Hunahpu's Day earlier this month. Check my avatar for details :-)

 

I think I would open the morning with the more than fitting Breakfast Stouts or Oatmeal Stouts with some pancakes. Later in the day we may do some smoked Gouda cheeses, and the night ends with big Porters. However, on warmer nights, I could certainly trade the porters for IPA

 

Me + Great beer + Bass boat + Warm day = priceless.

 

i'm not sure the details, but it would certainly involve having sex while drinking beer.

 

hah, well yes, i am known for sexual acrobatics that generally preclude effectively drinking beer.

i'll pull back from the sex, and say that my ideal drinking session would be at cambridge brewing company, but they'd get rid of the terrible lighting. drinking session would still probably be all nude.

 

a warm saturday afternoon outside in the sun with all my friends and a BBQ grill loaded up with food.

 

actually, if the beer were improved from what you probably get, some bloomsday pubcrawling in dublin would probably be up there for "perfect session" in my book.

 

A nice Saturday afternoon down on my boat after having gone fishing in the morning. Boat has been cleaned up, BBQ has been fired up and the burgers are ready to go on. This is the start of a lot of my great sessions...many of them end up with friends spending the night on the boat.

 

Not to duplicate most of the others, but grilling outside on a nice day and drinking some Zombie Dust with some friends. There's really more than one day I could substitute as perfection though.

Finishing up a great round of golf and kicking back brews with the guys you played with the rest of the day is an awesome drinking day too.

Or more beer oriented (and I probably thought of this since I think I'm going to do it), going to FFF, Founders, and Bell's in the span of a week and just drinking some great stuff all day with a couple friends. Especially looking forward to FFF and checking out Chicago.

Starting the morning off with an Imp stout,slow sipping for at least 1hr,starting the grill and having the family over while enjoying Hofbrau Ocktoberfest all day long,let us stagger this over a 12 hr period on a beautiful spring day.cheers

 

My ideal session would never end, and I would never become completely drunk

 

Breakfast- French toast and smoked bacon, washed down with a FBS or WnB. Go on a 8 mile hike, with friends, stopping occasionally to drink a can of Dale's Pale Ale. Return from the hike and grill some fresh hamburgers, topped with smoked gouda and sweet red onions and washed down with a few Victory at Sea. Then take a nap, in a hammock, in an old growth forest, on the ocean shore, nothing but perfect weather and ocean breezes. Finish the afternoon off by playing Bocce ball and sipping (sessionable) IPA's.....followed by a dinner consisting of a vegetable tray, toasted pitas, and hummus....all washed down by a nice Belgian offering.

Yeah, that would be pretty nice....

Hard to beat what you put up there, HB. I'll be living the dream (again) in a few weekends!

 

Morning: eating some french toast, ham, sausage and a nice RIS or Baltic Porter to wash it down. Go hiking with some friends, hitting some nice pilsners along the way. Afternoon, hit the water for a bit out on a boat&some bikini clad women (with nice toned athletic bodies), after a bit out on the water return to the beach, play volleyball and drink some nice hefeweissens. Evening, grilling some steaks/carne asada, chilling with friends, talking shit, drinking a mix of Hefeweissens, Kolschs, BSPAs & pilseners all the while maintaining a good buzz but not getting too wrecked.
