As a casual IPA consumer, Citrus.

I'm going to stop using 'y' at the end of these descriptors, lol.

I understand the use of dank...it just doesn't accurately describe the taste of anything. Dank pot was a loose term for "really good." I have never associated any particular taste with it, as I have citrus all of my life. I can't use the two in the same way...

Uh correct me if im wrong but isnt dank the reference to something being super good. Like you can have a dank citrusy ipa?
Got this reference from urban dictionary
    Dank
Also an expression requently used by stoners and hippies for something of high quality.
    That borritos was dank, man.
or... That borritos was the dankness

Like others I definitely seek out or brewery something that's a combination of both, but having to choose one, crisp and citruisy takes the top spot.

You'll be pretty dank already after 20 years of gay prison sex, so I'm gonna go with citrus.
Dank as a flavor term for IPAs doesn't really mean anything specific enough to me to vote on anyway...with or without the dankness of the prison sex thrown in.

It's really hard to reduce IPAs to simply citrusy or dank, and I'm pretty sure this has all come up recently in a very similar thread (couldn't find it readily though)...

I personally prefer something that brings a lot of elements together - some citrus and flower, some pine and resin, and some dankness, too, so I couldn't realistically vote for one or the other - also depends on the malts used, too - it's a case-by-case kinda thing for me - each beer has its own merits - no real absolutes for me...

I can appreciate either but I love when I take my first long drink of an IPA or DIPA and it almost tastes like a glass of orange juice. That's close to nirvana.

You're certainly not missing anything as far as YumYum is concerned, unless you like severely average pale ales that cost $12/sixer. And don't feel bad, we usually can't get FFF brews in Indiana either.
