I think all ipas should have citrus in it, but my favorite ipas tend to have huge amounts of both citrus and dank.

You're missing an entire scope of possibilities for this poll. Also, a true poll would allow multiple selections since there are no IPAs that are plainly citrusy or plainly dank without any other flavors.

    Tropical fruits (mango, lychee, pineapple)
Stone fruits (apple, pear, peach, apricot)
    Citrusy (grapefruit, orange, lemon)
    Earthy (musky, woodsy, minty)
    Floral (flowers, herbal, spice)
    Piney (resin, fresh pine needles)
Dank (like smelling a bag of marijuana)

Dank is a confusing word for some people. Those in the know simply go right to that resiny, Marijuana character which is so obvious in IIPAs like Heady & Pliny. There is however zero onion character to these beers.

I strongly dislike the oniony character that you get from something like Founders Devil Dancer.

I like all things equally, but the distribution trend of what I like, when I like it, and how much I like it compared to something else, is almost never uniform. It's what's known as a chaotic system; I'll never know what I like most next month, let alone next year.

I vote both. Just depends on what taste I'm in the mood for.

It really just depends on my mood for a given purchase. i LOVE the characteristics of both types

I prefer a balance of both, too. However, I tend to gravitate towards the "non food" qualities in my hop profiles: pine, grassy, floral, musty, weed, evergreen, etc. I do enjoy all of the citrus-forward IPAs that have been hitting shelves lately. Modern Times Booming Rollers blew me away.

To answer this poll, take this test. Open one Deschutes Fresh Squeezed and one Deschutes Pinedrop IPA. Drink. Which one do you enjoy most? I'd pick Fresh Squeezed 4 times out of 5 so I'll go with juicy for IPAs. Now when you start talking about DIPAs that I really like (Enjoy By, Hoptimum, Port Hop-15) you get dank and juicy working in perfect harmony.
