I too got burned on this. Drain poured the Flanders cellar 3 beer too. Green Flash is perma-banned from my purchase list. What a shitastic brewery

 

Birrificio Del Ducato - My Blueberry Nightmare...... tasted like spicy sweet sour rubbing alcohol

 

ST Creme Brulee. Most likely because of my taste. I did not think it would be as sweet and I couldn't get through the whole thing. ST is typically top notch in my book.

 

Most recently (and I know I will get chastised for this) I had to drain pour the last 4 ounces or so of my 12 oz Tweak bottle. I thought aging it over a year would tame it down. Still boozy coffee syrup - couldn't down more than 8 oz.

My last drain pour was a 12 pack of expired Dale's Pale Ale, which I don't really like to begin with.

I had been to a pub for dinner with my g/f and her parents and the service had been slow and inaccurate. When I finally chased down the waitress/bartender/proprietor to get the long-overdue check, she spontaneously offered me a case of beer for my trouble.

This is how I wound up with a case of Dale's cans that had expired many months earlier.

One sip from one can and down the drain all 12 went.

 

An Einbecker Winterbock 7 or 8 years ago, it wasn't so much the beer as the fact that I'd slammed one at a Christmas party the night before.

Prior to that was a fresh bottle of Tweak, just a terrible hot mess

central city bba imperial porter...it's cheap for a reason apparently. infected as hell.

 

That is a sad story...

 

Thimble Island M.A.D. Stout - No head, thin, syrupy, off flavors. It's highly rated, but I don't see why.

 

Dark Horizon 3. Rolled the dice and got the non carbonated, syrupy, boozy, wort in the bottle edition.

Alameda Black Bear XX Stout. Tasted like dip spit aged on green peppers with some dark fruit and olive juice thrown in for good measure.

 

Guinness Nitro IPA. Might've been from a bad batch, I don't know. But if any of you "manly men" can choke down one of these just to prove a point, more power to ya.

I hated to do it because I love it - but I recently drain poured an Allagash Dubbel. It was about 8 months old but it really tasted off.

 

Uerige Dopplesticke a couple nights ago. Just tasted awful to me. I love the bottle though so it wasn't a complete loss.
