When I want a good IPA, I don't want to trade and I don't want to hunt it down. Breakside IPA and Fort George Vortex IPA are my go-to IPAs these days. Readily available and reliably on point.

Except for few years ago when it academic changed the recipe on Flower Power. I hate to be that guy, but I loved the old recipe, the new one-not so much.

I think it is no coincidence that the most consistent are my stand bys. First and foremost...Fresh Squeezed. I challenge you to suggest a more juicy, large footprint IPA. Union Jack and Hop Stoopid are also in my regular rotation and I've rarely noticed a difference.

Edit: I also find Anti-Hero incredibly consistent. It is just a notch or so below the others I suggested. I feel similar regarding Two-Hearted.

Breakside's Wanderlust never wavers & is in no danger of replacement as my favorite IPA. That Amarillo nose hooks me every time.

It's hard for me to say anything other than a nice Kuhnhenn DRIPA, seeing as a fresh draft or growler is only a 20 minute drive from my house. That being said, most people aren't as luck as me, so I'll give my award to both Two Hearted Ale and White Rajah for basic classic IPAs.

While it's not my favorite I'd say Two Hearted is amazingly consistent, epspecially considering the incredibly broad distribution. Available damn near everywhere , and it's dated. At better places I can get it two weeks old, usually under. Month in many places. But, IMO it's better on tap, seems to have a bit more snap of bitterness that the bottles seem to lack.

Finest Kind would be my answer. Very consistent, have had fresh, old, tap, bottle, can. Not the best in the world, but always damn good.

I've been drinking founders centennial for 10 plus years, and I swear it tastes the same today as it did then. I can have it on tap at the brewery, on tap at Applebee's, or buy a sixer from a gas station, and it's consistently great.

Prolly Stone IPA. More or less a carbon copy every time. And every time really darn good.

Muskoka Detour (Bracebridge, Ontario)! If i'm ever unsure what to buy I immediately go for a sixer of Detour. It's the only session IPA I've had with excellent flavour.
