Your Opinion on These IPAs...

Union Jack wins it for me. Followed by a virtual tied for second in the order of Flower Power and Nugget Nectar. I have not had an opportunity to try the others.

 

FTFY. If you don't use enough abbreviations folks will think you aren't geek enough, and in this case it hit the mark.

 

Okay, that's it. Who are you really? No Cigar Head in the Windy City? And none of those muddie PNW IPA's either, I suppose?

 

Head Hunter and it's not even close.

 

The fact that Head Hunter isn't running away in this poll is a crying shame.

Head Hunter is heads above the rest of the beers in the poll AINEC.

 

Just a very lucky individual man. I was at my prime in the nineties, I have done a lot of traveling, I lived in some incredible places...seen some amazing things. Started drinking todays beers at an early age when they were still available, and now I'm a stay at home dad with a highly gifted child -a LOVELY wife- and I live in the middle of some of the best beer on earth...cheers!

 

Wish I'd been around back then, I hear the IIPA's that were around in the early 90's were so much better than those we have today.

Yeah, I just got in to craft beer and still trying to figure out which style I like best. Don't do any traveling yet, but when I finish college I hope to get married and have kids, and eventually do some traveling.

 

I would give Jai Alai a slight edge over Flower Power. I haven't had a few others though. I miss getting Jai Alai every other day in Florida. Flower Power is really good too.

 

I voted for NN because one, I love it, but two, I live near Hershey and can get it like water when it's out. Otherwise my vote would be for Jai Alai, if my avatar didn't give it away. I do love me some fresh Flower Power too. And for that matter, I'd never turn down Union Jack. Haven't had the other two.

 

I've only had Nugget Nectar, Flower Power, and Union Jack. Choosing from those three, I'd give Nugget Nectar a slight edge over Flower Power for the best choice. Union Jack is no slouch of course.

 

You are the lucky one bro...get that college education, it's going to make life sooo much easier. The beer was only better if you like dark sweet beer, Only the weed was better. Keep those grades up...no matter how hard, it will only last a short period of time.

 

Fat Heads noses out Jai Alai and Nugget Nectar is a distant third. I have not had the other three.

SHSHSHSH...it's still a secret. Plus, I was told recently they just changed the formula for like the third time. I think the new one is just now rolling off the line. That's all second hand information, but we will see when the shipment comes in.

 

Flower Power, Jack and Jai Lai are all winners. I love the Nectar but isn't that considered an Imperial Amber Ale?

 

I voted for Nugget Nectar. Although its classified as an imperial amber ale not an IPA it's amazing and I can't wait for it to come back in the spring.

 

Surly Wet is coming in October. Looks like there will be a lot of trades out of MN with Surly... especially Darkness

 

Of those, Jai Alai or Union Jack.

 

Head Hunter without a doubt. Such an amazing IPA and a hop head's dream. Can't wait to go visit family in Toledo for Thanksgiving so I can get my hands on a bunch.
