You had me at this. Such an under-rated beer. It's Heady's better looking Younger Sister.

Only beers I've given a 4.75 or greater...guess that qualifies as perfect?

    Citra
    Kern 5th Anniv/Winter Ale
    Nelson
    Black Butte XX
    Abyss
    Victory at Sea

    Black Husky Pale Ale
    Central Waters BBA Barleywine
    pseudoSue
    Heady

Those are some of the beers I think are perfect just the way they are.

Only one so far... Cantillon Kriek 100% Lambic Bio.

Not just that tart, cherry funkiness you'd expect, there's a much more complex cinnamon nutmeggy backbone that sets it apart from any other lambic (and any other beer) that I've ever tried.

Yeah, Salvator seems to have lost a bit of zip off of the old fastball, although it's still a quality brew. Definitely give the Andechs a try if you see it around.

I'm gonna get away from what most people are considering perfect and go with more easily had beers:
    Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
    Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier
    Busch (I'm not kidding)
    Cuvee Renee
    Deschutes Fresh Squeezed
    Schlafly AIPA

Honorable Mention goes to (all of these were damn near perfect, but just weren't as good (imo) as the ones above this line):

    Carton Regular Coffee
    St. Bernardus ABT 12
    Elysian Night Owl
    Founders Breakfast
    Stone Enjoy By 2.14.14
    OB Ten Fidy
    Sixpoint Hi-Res
    FSW 17th Anniversary
    Old Rasputin on Nitro
    OB Old Chub on Nitro

And yes, the 2 beers at the bottom only make the list if they're on Nitro.

Not one five, don't really rate stuff anymore so I suppose I'd have to have a brew on the Hoppy side blows away HT or Abrasive, of a BA Stout that just blows BCBS doors off.

Dumb luck. I walked into one of my local mom and pop shops, checked the Weinstephaner selection and low and behold the bottled on date was a mere two weeks previous.
