After being introduced to it last fall, FBS. There is no going back to not having it.

resin or palate wrecker. one of the 2, or maybe double jack, has to be in the refrigerator at all times... in case of emergency
If my tolerance to caffeine wasn't so pathetic, it would be 3 bean instead.

I gotta go with Gandhi-bot here. I have been blessed by an abundance of Heady Topper recently but every time I taste the bot (thanks to friends that travel), I second guess what my favorite DIPA is. NEBCO is doing it right.

I tend to have a huge soft sport for the Great Lakes seasonals. I cant remember the last time I passed on Lake Erie Monster.

The Brew Kettle's White Rajah is essentially buy-on-sight for me. Maumee Bay just put their Amarillo Brillo in 4 packs, so it may soon enjoy Rajah status for me.

I always need to have some La Fin du Monde in the house. And some kind of good DIPA. And a nice saison. And lately some sours.

Hoptimum is one of those beers that makes me wonder just how much effect hype and rarity have on some beers. Generally, I believe that most of those hyped beers are at least nearly as good as what people think they are, and sometimes just as good, and that most easily obtainable beers get nearly as much love as they deserve, but Hoptimum is a different case, I think. That beer is bottled liquid gold dynamite compared to its overall average.
