Same thing happened to me. Distro happened on that day. 1 case made it to the biggest store in the State and I snagged the 1st 2 off the shelf.

That's because Black Ops isn't a Shelf Turd , just a turd (note lower case), and an expensive one at that

a store by me still has '13 Older Viscosity on the shelves.

I bought one, and didn't care for it. The rest are still sitting there.

Two 4 packs of KBS for 8.99. Yep, that's 8.99 per 4 pack...after paying 6 dollars for a single bottle I was extremely happy that day. I even asked the manager if the price was correct, he said yep, left guilt free.

not really a self turd but I found a few four packs of FBS yesterday. I thought this years batch had sold out everywhere, so I had to buy one even though I'm not the biggest stout guy. Drank one and gave the other three to a good friend. That stuff is delicious, but it's too much like dessert for me to drink frequently. I'm tempted to throw a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. FBS float anyone?

    Yea...I'm not feeling it either.

There are always good beers "sitting" on the shelf. I'm sure if I went out right now I could find, Sucks, Bigfoot, Two Hearted, Mirror Mirror, Odell IPA, Fresh Squeezed and more. Shelf turds...I don't think so. Over priced, maybe and would sometimes explain why they are hanging around. Although I can get Bigfoot for $6.49 a four...that's a solid price. If anything I always have plenty of "gold nuggets" to choose from.

See Rufus everywhere I go in Colorado. $13 a 12 oz. might have a little to do with that...

Nothing spectacular but Tart of Darkness a few months back and I found quite a few Love Child No.3 last Summer/Fall just chillin' (and to refer to the "Regret" thread, I only bought one).

Love Child No. 3 is like that girl that use to like you when you were young and you were too stupid to pay enough attention to her, now she's all grown up and fine and you kick yourself for not having got enough of her!!

To brag a bit, I can walk into my local beer shop right now and grab a bunch of Pannepot, Fantome saisons or even Founders Sweet Repute.

Still plenty o bourbon county stout at kappy's in Danvers MA. Sitting on the shelf all winter. I bought a few. $9 price point probably something to do with it.

About two weeks ago I went into our local co-op store to see if, by chance, they had Southern Tier Mokah. They did. And right next to it was a bottle of BA Old Rasputin!!! I thought it was a mirage.

still plenty of BCBS at a lot of stores in MA. we must have gotten a lot and I agree that $9 for a 12 oz is the reason it's around. I'm sure the get exactly zero impulse buys. Anywhere that isn't a hot spot for beer geeks can't get rid of it
