They want to make sure you got all the yeast and proteins that might have settled at the bottom of the bottle. There may be times when the swirl isn't needed, but if the beer was standing upright for a long time then it may get stuck at the bottom, and stay in the bottle when trying to pour. It's come down to personal preference if you want that extra yeast or not, but a hefeweizen is a style where that yeast can play a big role.

My go to lawnmower beer is Duquesne - "The Prince of Pilsners"
But I always have Penn Pilsner in the fridge as a back up.
A couple honorable mentions to Southern Tier Pilsner, Bells Oberon, Bells Poolside and Cigar City Florida Cracker

Now that Modern Times chose to can the correct version of Fruitlands, all other warm weather beers are dead to me

I'll be fidgety until Jack's Abby releases this year's iteration of their Sunny Ridge pilsner, which I've been craving lately.

I'll also be drinking plenty of Jack's Abby House Lager, Notch Session Pils (and other Notch varieties), and the apparently quite popular Troegs Sunshine Pils.

Anything from Live Oak always hits the spot. Or anything lighter from Bells now that they're in Texas!
