Sunspot is an awesome hefe for the few I have tried. Brother Benjamin is a really good DIPA as well.

Havent been that impressed with Crux thus far. Love the building and the bar, but the beer has been kind of whatever. Mosaic is the face of their tap list, and there isnt really anything that sticks out about it. Totally drinkable and good, but nothing special. No punch for a double.

Love, love, love Boneyard. They havent made a beer that I have disliked. Not very familiar with Fort Geroge outside of the Vortex, which is delicious.

Full Pint, just outside of Pittsburgh, is making some solid stuff.

For Indiana I'm going with Daredevil slightly ahead of Bier Brewery. All three of the beers they've put out have been great.

To me Sun King is already established and out of towners come in looking for their stuff at liquor stores because at the moment that's the only thing from Indiana people know about for the most part (besides FFF). Sun King's regular offerings are pretty pedestrian, and I'm generally disappointed by their over-priced "king's reserve" series cans. They do have some growler fill only stuff that is pretty good though.

Flat 12 makes very good beers IMO, but it's their taproom and festival beers that really shine.

Cutters, really? I've met the head brewer and he's very passionate, but they need to work on their recipes a bit. They just opened to the public last weekend (a pop up canopy outside) so I'm hoping it'll be a way for them to get more feedback on their beer and will help them improve. They've got the evil red empire distributing them in this area, so that's helping them spread.

yeah, their flagship IPA was a big let down for me. But then I had the Saison and the stout on Nitro and both were very good. I have heard the DIPA they just put out is also very good.

the real sleeper (not for long) in Oregon is De Garde. they are making some really cool beer

Oh, yes it can. the empire imprial stout from cutters was okay (not at $6 for a single tho) and the half court was the least hoppy IPA i have had is some time. could have been old i guess, but not bottle dates. At least the triton stuff is palatable.

I don't know if Jack's Abby is "Up and Coming" because they've hit their stride and are in their prime, but yeah, them. Newburyport is a true up and comer- they're Greenhead IPA in a can is the real deal for a summertime sixer. Overtaken Baxter Stowaway for my affordable, go-to IPA in a can.

Tons of posers out there right now in MA, but these two are doing it real.

Inherently I don't trust Two Roads, or at least I approach them with caution. Probably due to start up capital they came on too strong, as if one day they didn't exist and the next they were nearly ubiquitous in the state.

I don't hate just to hate, and I certainly don't hate them. But in a way I like to think craft breweries earned their stripes. AB and Coors are the types to buy their way in.

Another from Colorado that I haven't seen posted yet, Grimm Brothers.

They might be handicapped by their focus on german style beers, given that that style is definitely a bit left of center for what is so popular on the market around here. But these guys are definitely putting out some quality beers.

Hardywood Park and Center of the Universe have been a great addition to the Richmond Area, and there are many more breweries popping up. Keep your eyes on Richmond!
