The saison is their best beer. The conntucky was ok, but since they are still new I'll give them a little more time

In Michigan I am going with Odd Side, Greenbush and Wolverine State Brewing. Being that I work just over the boarder in Toledo, I have to give a nod to Maumee Bay Brewing, while the Buckeye Beer is meh, their IPA, Double IPA and Breakfast Stout are amazing.

I did have the Trillium pale ale a few weeks ago and it was great.

There are a lot of Oceanside, LI residents (my in-laws for example) that would take considerable offense to you referring to their little slice of Heaven as being on the Queens border  I totally agree on Barrier though...I personally think they are putting out the best beer on Long Island

I've been hoping to try some from Wicked Weed. I drove past it a couple months ago but didn't have time to stop

+1 for Blue Lobster in NH. I've had 7 or 8 of their beers and have been impressed by all. Looking forward to seeing what they do with barrels.

While I agree with earlier comments about Flat 12 and Cutters, I feel Sun King is gonna really start shining. At the liquor store I work we get people from out of state coming to get it. We sell more Sun King than any other craft, exluding FFF.

Tree House and Jack's Abby take the title, in my opinion.

In the small but great state of Rhode Island, I have to say it is Foolproof Brewery. They have made 5 beers so far (3 annual, 2 seasonal one-offs) and all have been very solid for the style. Great guys as well who offer the most informative brew tour I've been on.

Aside from Tired Hands and Forest & Main (which I don't consider "up and comers" since they're brewpubs. unless their main goal is franchising) I would say Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co or Susquehanna.

yes frank is also a very good beer they brew. I see kegs all over local Consumers and other craft beer stores selling CBW's products. Im currently trying to get my work, Buffalo Wild Wings, to get a few of their beers on tap to help support local Breweries.

And I'm pretty sure West Sixth just was sued by Magic Hat over that logo, theres a thread somewhere about it.

I enjoy Flat 12 beers - they were at Bloomington Craft Beer Fest with a boat load of experimental brews - has 1 that was aged in Pappy barrels. Holy crap.

However, if I were to recommend any 1 brewery to a traveler through the state, it would be any of the 3 beers thus far by Daredevil. They releases their first beer, Lift Off, in January. A crazy good IPA. Their 2nd came out shortly after, Muse, a Belgian Strong Ale. This one is something special. And the final came out just before beer fest, Rip Cord. A double IPA which I enjoy more than Lift Off. This brewery is going to be huge.

NEBCO is an easy answer, but I agree with the previous posters: they're already pretty well established, and people outside of the state want their beer. Not so much up-and-coming, then.

Two Roads is a pretty good choice for up-and-comer. There are a handful of other breweries with potential, but I just don't see them having the output or cachet yet. People have at least heard of Two Roads.
