Fall is when I take trips with my girlfriend to special beer states. Last year it was Washington and Oregon. This year it's gonna be Wisconsin and possibly Michigan. Next year? Probably Colorado or the east coast. Can't wait.

Just did it---dropped 500 plus on bottles and growlers going from Cincy to Columbus. Hit Weiland's market, then hit the Andersons, then went to Wooster Ohio and hit up JAFB and Buehler's. Left with 5 cases of beer in 4's, 6ers, and single big bottles. Add to that a stop at Barley's in Columbus and a trip to Grandpa's cheese barn for some consumables and we were set, spent, and broke. Very enjoyable.

Five summers in a row my summer beercation is Rehoboth Beach. DFH brewpub, local canned beer, and family beach/boardwalk time. Everyone wins, everyone loves it. I already did a mini beercation in May when I zipped up to Portland Maine for a friend's wedding. Bonus!

Going to hit Vegas again. In there past, it was a disappointing wasteland of brewing. But, I've heard of a few more places, and one of them I was told to "give it another chance." Also, looking forward to going back to Flagstaff, AZ. It's been more than a decade since I made it back to my frequent hauntings there. Sadly, Mogollon has been gone for a while, but look forward to hitting up the "new to me" Lumberyard Brewing.

Just got back from a quicky in Chicago, NE Indiana, and Michigan. Greenish Brewing was a highlight!!! Skipped FFF, cuz I thought my dad would not be able to enjoy the beer while metal was cranking.

Going to be in Portland, Oregon. Never have been there, and would love some recommendations for good beer and food. Thanks!

No major vacation plans this year, but we usually try to get to Arcadia Brewing once or twice during the summer months. I need to get my English Ales on. Their bottles seem harder to find these days for some reason, so a trip to the brewery is good. Their ales usually taste excellent on tap also, the way it's meant to be.

Which breweries are you hitting? Myself, I'd be sure to hit at least Central Waters and Founders.

Visit a brewery tasting room 2, 3, 4 or more times a week. Oh wait, that's not a vacation, that life in Beer City ;-)

Was just checking this out last night. Planning on a trip to Portland end of summer/start of fall. Will probably just stay in the city for this first time around as there are more than enough breweries/beer bars to check out for the few days I'll be there. Would like to venture out to Bend in future visits as I've heard that is a great beer city as well.

On a road trip from Salt Lake City to Washington's Olympic Peninsula. Enjoyed Barley Browns in Baker City, Oregon and Bale Breaker in Yakima on the way. Looking forward to visiting Propolis in Port Townsend this week!

Went on a cruise about two weeks ago. The only craft beer I found was in the "pub" on the ship. Mexico, Jamaica and Gr. Cayman had nothing but macros. That said, they were pretty good considering the heat and humidity. Note: my favorite was Carib from T&T, bought in Jamaica.

I've visited 11 breweries in the last week. 8 in Asheville and 3 in Atlanta. I think it's time to give my liver a break for awhile from my "vacation".

10 days till I try to hit as many pubs in beautiful Traverse City, MI as I can with stops in Frankfort for Stormcloud Brewing and Bellaire for my personal favorite, Short's. Bringing a half dozen growlers and hoping to come home with each one filled with new-to-me brews.

Old Orchard Beach, ME. Hanging out at the beach, pedal the bike some. Drink some beer. Repeat as needed. Vacation goals? Aim high. Spend the whole day in my swimsuit. Drink before noon. Start there. Any good beer in Portland? So many good options. Allagash, Bissel bros, Foundation, Rising tide etc. Closer to where I'm staying are Barreled souls and Banded horn.
