Your Sweetest DIPA

    When I hear "sweetest DIPA" my mind immediately goes to Southern Tier. It tastes like both 2XIPA and Unearthly have a teaspoon of sugar dumped in prior to bottling.

    Solar Abyss from DC Brau is a great Citrus DIPA. Only was able to get my hands on two. It was the perfect amount of sweet and packed a punch at 10%. Saving my last one for a special occasion.

    Yeah, it kind of brings the beer down for me. Still a very nice dipa, but it would be so much better and complimentary to the intense hop profile if they tamed down the sweetness.

    Snapshot Imperial IPA from Mt. Carmel (is there really a difference between double and imperial???) had a wonderful sweet malty background leveling out the hops. Excellent.

    +1 on Evil Twin Molotov Cocktail... 13%abv and you don't even taste it, its so sweet.

    My opinion is that your higher ABV DIPAs are all gonna be sweet.
