I don't drink a ton of Sam Adams but lets see:

    Boston Lager
    Octoberfest
Porch Rocker...im probably going to take some shit for this one, but whatever its a great lawnmower/beach beer.

I know I really liked Old Fezziwig, but its been years since I've had it. I cant bring myself to buy a whole case of Sam Adams to get it.

    1. Imperial Stout ( full of dark chocolate and mild coffee roastiness, black licorice and anise)
    2. Mile High Barleywine ( 2010 Longshot Winner)
    3. Brown Ale ( why they got rid of this is beyond me, it was an excellent english brown)

    Honerable mentions:

Third Voyage ( it was damn good fresh )

Triple Bock ( I liked it, just needed some tweaking. Give it another shot SA, barrel age it! )

Imperial White ( Yes I am one of the few, possibly only. Again, BA or at least oak this underrated beauty. I am currently sipping a 2011)

    KMF

Griffin's Bow sounds delicious, please brew this again! Also looking forward to Rebel Rouser.

East West Kolsch always stood out for me. It's a style that doesn't really do anything for me. Not that I dislike it, I just feel like it's one of those "had one, had 'em all" styles.
I like their double bock also.
    Nothing else jumps to mind.

I get'cha bud, I really do but I can definitely bunch any Sam Adam's drinkers into that Anheuser crowd and they don't even seem realize it, these guys are the future. Like your dad drinks Bud and Coors and now, you don't mind drinking any Sam Adams or craft; which is totally cool. My nose isn't stuck up, I tend to cherish it a little more if it can be cellared, yeah know? I've got a green thumb too, which is my first preference. I cellar most of my beers. I run a couple liquor stores and with beer, you can really taste water content and that's 78% beers in a bottle. I like that smaller percentage doing higher alcohol, barrel-age stuff but I cherish pumpkin season and so forth. Thankfully, more breweries are testing the boundaries even more, every day and theming, bottle releasing and making it better. When I was younger, I would drink this stuff but now that quality is no issue, I easily drink the good stuff everywhere, when I want to.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Adams, InBev and/or MillerCoors joined forces in the near future. Samuel Adams has turned into their little brother, both trying to decipher microbrewing, as if they don't remember what it was like. Its very bizarre. I hope someone important reads this.

Sorry for the thread jack. :flushed:

What's now apparently just called "Boston Ale" was originally labeled "Stock Ale" IIRC? (Some would say "mislabeled" since traditionally stock ale in the US, and elsewhere, was long aged.) No idea if the recipe has remained constant.

According to BBC's Annual Reports, that beer was first brewed in 1987, and usually is said to have been in celebration of opening their pilot brewery inside part of the old Haffenreffer brewery in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
