Love stouts and sours too, these are just the ones that I am most excited to open and they all happen to be hops

    Lol, me too.

    For today:
Heady Topper - always will be, the next are tough.
    BC Coffee
    Hop Ju Ju
    HF Susan
    KBS.

I'd say Abrasive, but I found this years a bit disappointing, it wasn't super fresh though. In previous years I'd put Abrasive up there with any Dipa in the country, really a tremendous beer in every way.

Amazing how quickly these lists can change. For me Trillium Double Dry Hopped Melcher Street and GI BCBCS is stil on list, but the others are not, really depends on which week you catch me.

Sand City Infinity Plus Plus was awesome, always love SingleCut Mo Shuggie and FW Parabola is on the list now as well as their 19th Anniversary. And Other Half is always kicking out something great so definitely a slot for them too,

    1. Rose de Gambrinous-Cantillon
    2. Barrel Aged Bible Belt-Prairie Artisan Ales
    3. King Sue-Toppling Goliath
    4. Darkness-Surly
    5. Zombie Dust- Three Floyds

To clarify, this is NOT a list of the best beer I have had, or even necessarily my favorite beers of the moment. These are my favorite beers for combination of their impact on my beer drinking. Had never been a huge fan of sours before cantillon, and that beer whole heartedly converted me. BA Bible Belt is one of the best beers I have ever had period, and for that reason is here. King Sue is the best IPA I have tasted (I prefer it personally to Pliny) and also was the first (and likely last) beer that I really chased after. Darkness is both delicious and reminds me of home every time I drink it. Zombie dust was my first wow! Beer ever and it simply never gets old cracking one of those.

If I can find them fresher more often Neshaminy Creek Highwater Hefeweizen and Lost Abbey Red Barn Ale and Witches Wit would easily also make this list.

I could drink those anytime. Any place.

    Group 2:

    King Sue
    Birthday BOMB!

Group 1 beers are those I'd drink any time, anywhere (including the laundromat ). Group 2 beers are among my highest rated, but I need to be in a particular frame of mind before I'll commit to them.

If King Sue was available in 12-ounce cans, all bets would be off.
