I didn't include BA stouts in the first list:
    1. Founder's Imperial
    2. Hoppin' Frog DORIS
    3. Oskar Blues Ten Fiddy
    4. Sierra Nevada Narwhal
    5. Stone IRS

But if BA stouts were included, the would sweep the top 5. We would start to see non-ba stouts much further down the list. Maybe I have a season pass to the hype train? Maybe I just really like beer that tastes a bit like whiskey? Regardless:

    1. Surly Darkness
    2. Hoppin' Frog BORIS Van Wink
    3. Founders KBS
    4. Deschutes Abyss
    5. Goose Island BCBS

I am now tempted to list all the amazing stouts I have tried that these selections narrowly edged out.

So many great ones, but my personal favorites include:

    1. Founders IS
    2. BORIS

    5. Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout

    Can't leave the specials out:
    1. Cascade Diesel
    2. Block 15 Super Nebula
    3. FiftyFifty Eclipse 4 Roses
    4. BCBS (remember when this wasn't "special"?)
    5. '07 Abyss

    No specific order:

    Allagash Black
    Yeti
    NC Old Rasputin
    Ten Fidy
Bear Republic Big Black Bear Stout

Love belgian stouts and allagash and yeti stick out to me. The whole yeti series is pretty spot on so I just put Yeti to simplify and not overcrowd my favorite list with just different variations of it.

    Here's a new stout thread:
Best stout by price point, regardless of style(imperial, Russian Imperial, coffee, chocolate, breakfast, who GAF, etc.).
I have access to Lagunitas Imperial Stout for sub $5 a bomber. It never lets me down, is delicious, and always surprises me how much punch it packs in the flavor department for how much I pay for it. Another stellar offering from Lagunitas!

A few others I enjoy are Hoppin Frog Boris, really anything Boris, Ten Fidy, and Great Divide's oatmeal yeti was stubbing like most yeti's. fifty fifty total eclipse are solid as well. I've had about every barrel available

Well the high west bottling wasnt all that impressive compared to the others, but hey High West bourbon doesn't come close to actual Kentucky bourbon of any kind either, but it was still pretty decent. Those Total Eclipse offerings are expensive, but all of them were solid
