Top 5 so far...key words are "so far"

1) Bottle Logic Fundamental Observation - This one will be tough to beat out as my #1 this year. It truly lived up to the hype for me. Just everything I need and more in a BA vanilla stout.
2) Modern Times Rum BA Monsters Park Coconut & Cocoa Nibs - Just wow. Just everything about it. You can truly taste every single element to this beer. The coconut is the most prevalent I ever had in a beer. To tell you the truth...surprised that there's not more hype on this beer.
3) SARA West Ashley (Latest batch) - Holy apricots Batman! Incredible stuff. Really had everything I wanted in a sour and it only helps that I love apricots. Get it if you haven't already.
4) Kiwi Herman - Alpine...Strawberries...Kiwi...Sour. Enough said. I'm sure if I had tried Chez Monus this year, it would top my list.
5) Veritas 15 - I always love me some Veritas but I think Lost Abbey killed it this year! Out of the recent years, I think only V12 I say was better. V15 was crazy delicious fresh.

I really need to trade for more East Coast beers haha. I definitely had my fair share from the east but none of the heavy hitters yet. I'm sure my top 5 will change by year's end as I ravage through my cellar.

Now, If I had to rank the ties, I think my favorite of the year was the Orviamo. It was just a really complex and delicious beer. The Fou Foune was also everything that I had hoped for and more after a few years of anticipation.
