    No good, huh? I wasn't expecting a world-beater, I suppose.

Since I was lucky enough to sample some Westvleteren XII last week, I can cross that one off the list of white whales. I'd still love to score a bottle of it, so I could enjoy more than 2 ounces or so, but I'm definitely not complaining.

Next up would probably be Utopias or anything from Cantillon. Maybe King Henry. I'm not a trader and don't really have the funds to start, so King Henry is completely out since it isn't made anymore. There's a halfway decent chance I'll run across a Cantillon one day. I know a guy who has a Utopias, I just don't think that I'll happen to be at his house the day he decides to crack it open in celebration of something and I know that I'm not going to spend the money on one myself. It's just not worth it that much to me.

Beyond that, I'd actually have to think about stuff that is difficult but much more plausible for me to one day get. Plus, if it's distributed to NJ, my sister can sometimes hook me up around Christmastime.

You know you can buy Westy XII online from a number of different sites, right? If it's truly one of your white whales, why not splurge a little to hit that tick?

My whales: J&J Blauw and J&J Roze... I ain't got that kinda splurgin' money.

Rum Maple Fayston or Remy Pappy. The latter I sort of understand but the Fayston is killing me.

Depends on the timing. It was great fresh, but the "common" batch that hit shelves 2 years didn't age very well. I opened one last month and was sorely disappointed. I suppose I'm dumb for keeping mine so long considering it's an American barleywine, but I probably wouldn't go too nuts trying to trade for one of those.

Not much of a whaler anymore but I'm hunting for Ballantine Burton Ale ever since I read a great article about it. If anyone has any leads, let me know!

Cable Car Kriek, KBBS, Jean Chris Nomad, Blabaer, and oddly enough Double Sunshine.

Duck Duck and the Coolship lineup were up there until pretty recently, but happily I know some world-class industry people through my job :grinning:

That 6:1 offer you posted a while ago for '99 Framboos didn't get done? If so, that's nuts.
