There's no "white whale" out there for me, I'm just not into "chasing" beers. If I happen to come across something I wanted to try, fine. If not, no big deal.

Probably the most anticipated beers I ever had were the Westvleterens, and the Narke Stormaktsporter. Both the regular and "kaggen" versions. I had about 4 different barrel aged versions of the Stormakstporter at the Borefts festival a couple of years ago. All were wonderful.

Millenium Geuze and 3F 50th Anniversary Geuze come immediately to mind.

if youre willing to throw about 15-20 bucks of something interesting, you can land a bottle. Trust me. I put up a bottle of Sexual Chocolate ($10) and Silent Night ($15), and got Westy 12 and 8. I actually enjoyed the 8 more, but thats neither here nor there. Westy 12 is alot easier than you think.

Thanks for reminding me, I wanna land the Blonde at some point soon.

Meh, it's just beer to me. If I try something, great. If not, no big deal. I think people put too much stock in their "slayed whales" list as a pissing contest to see who has the biggest BA-peen.

BBA vanilla bean dark lord. likely going to take the stars aligning for that one to become a reality. younger would also be up there - bit more realistic on that count.

Sam mine is nothing because at the end of the day it's just beer and I could fucking care less if I try a beer or not as there are thousands available that I can just purchase off the shelf.

    Good seeing you Saturday
