Planning a trip in February to an all inclusive on the Yucatan. Any insights/intel into beer options?
I haven't been, but would like to go someday. Just scanning google maps, it looks like there are a few options, depending on where you are: Mérida: several taprooms, at least one brewery/taproom (Bacab), and at least one specialty bottle shop. Campeche: looks like very few options here, but there look to be a couple beer-forward bars. Cancún: brewery/taproom (Puerto Juárez Brewery), looks like a couple of decent craft-oriented taprooms. Don't see any specialty bottle shops, just a ton of Modeloramas Cozumel/Playa de Carmen: actually several breweries here, along with some craft-beer-forward bars. Looks like the most beer-y of the Yucatán tourist destinations. When you get back, let us know what great beer discoveries you made!
