Anyone know for certain if this offering is bottle conditioned or not? Clearly it isn't filtered but I am wondering if the yeast is viable to harvest?

    Cheers

I don't know, but you might have better luck with this question on the Homebrewing Board.

There could be some viable cells in there. Worth a shot at making a really small, low gravity starter and pitching the dregs into it.. see what happens, and step it up a couple of times

don't know for sure if they bottle condition this brew. doubtful. if there is some haze there is a chance you can culture up something viable, but it might not be the fermentation strain. plan to do multiple steps to get to pitching volume. no help there...

i believe Yuengling utilizes a proprietary lager strain for the vast majority of their beers (and there isn't a whole lot), both lager and ale styles. their summer wheat is not very memorable imo, and i don't believe the yeast is anything special. it works well for their portfolio but maybe that's it?
if you are dead set, then give it a go.
otherwise US-05 or German Hefe liquid strain. that is my opinion.
    Cheers.
