Did anyone else get Zombie Dust from the brewpub on Thursday 12/18 with no bottle date? The word was that they ran out some time around 2:00 PM, but that they 'brought more up' for the line of 50+ or so still there (and still showing up). My cases would have been in this second wave, and i'm wondering if maybe they skipped the bottle date stamping to get the cases to the line of people quicker?
I don't know but since you got it there I'd say the beer is probably fresh and there is no need to worry over bottle dates
Agreed -- I am confident that it's fresh. I am looking to do some IP trading with some of it while i'm on the east coast for the holidays, which is really why i'm asking about the bottle date. While i'd like potential traders to consider my confidence as all the evidence they need to trust that it's fresh, i'm not sure i would blame them for being skeptical of the freshness of bottles with no date, for a beer that typically has a date on it.
