Glass Jug in Durham also got some this week

 

Anyone know if they still have Relic sets (4 pack)? Been trying to lock down a trade on the forums for all 4 and haven't gotten a single response.

Is it that Zebulon is still too small and pool of potential trade partners is too limited?

 

Zebulon is very small. They might be available, and if I see any I can let you know.

 

They hit distro. Salud and Crafty beer guys got some in the CLT area.

 

Craft Beer Cellar in Hickory has them on the shelf as of yesterday. Let me know if you want me to pick one up for you. I think there were only 600 or so made, so yeah, its a limited pool because Zebulon is pretty small.

 

As of Saturday they had about 100 of the relics series packs left and mixed berry sour was on draft.

 

I've been enjoying the relic series. Great beers so far, and way cool bringing back extinct styles.

 

Any idea if this latest release will still be around next weekend(7/29)? Heading into town from Chicago on vacation and was hoping to scoop some

 

Which latest release? The one we're talking about in this thread is the Relic Series and Mixed Berry, which -might- be around (only a couple bottle shops in town and they're worth checking out anyway), but his latest announced release was the Artic Ale from the Relic Series as a standalone release, which will almost certainly be around at the brewery the weekend of 7/29, but not sure if it'll have made it to the bottle shops yet by then.

 

Thanks for the info, yes I was referring to Arctic Ale, couldn't remember what it was called and couldn't find the facebook post for some reason.

 

Crap I just realized we won't get into town until after 6PM on saturday, do these show up at the good bottle shops around town and stick around for a few days?

 

Typically yes. Zebulon is well thought of by the people that know about them, but he's still so small that there aren't tons of people that know about him, even in the moderately craft-aware crowd. Plus the fact that he brews some really odd styles means they do often sit around for a little bit.

Anyone know of anywhere in the Triangle (or elsewhere) that still has any bottles of the framboise?

 

I only heard of Tasty getting it, and I want to say they picked it up in Ashville and brought it back. Pretty sure it did not last long there. Good luck!

 

Gotcha, yeah I did manage to get one at Tasty but it was awesome so trying to hunt down another. I know Bottle Rev RDU got some a while back, but I was too late on that.
