Zombie Dust Chicago Northwest Suburbs

    I see on 3 Floyds website the nearest establishment to McHenry is in Carpentersville (QuickX Liquors) to carry their beer.

    Does anyone know of any other place or if the location I gave above has any Zombie Dust?

    I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but with few if any exceptions you will not have success finding zombie dust in the northwest suburbs. You'll have much better success keeping an eye on the three Floyd's brewpub twitter feed @3floydspub for when it is in stock in Munster.

    that sucks, for a year round beer its that tough to get?

    Looks like it sells out in days.

    Guess I will have to make a quick 1.5 road trip when its available.

    Guess they have a hard time keeping up with demand.

    Durty Nellies in Palatine has it on tap from time to time. Not NW burbs, but for bottles you can drive a little bit past O'Hare to Fischman's Liquors and find it there more than other places. I don't usually shop for ZD but do go to FFF once a month or so. BM me if you'd like to arrange something. I'm heading that way at the end of next week. Not sure if they'll have it, biput if they do I'd be happy to pick some up for you.

    Thanks, I work on in Schaumburg and have been to Durty Nellies many moons ago. I will watch their Twitter feed to see if they have any and if they do maybe we can arrange something. Thanks

    They keep updated on Beermenus.com, too. I'm in Schaumburg as well. I also recommend Bigby's Pour House just south of here.

    I work in Schaumburg too, from where I'm at I've mapped it that I can make it to Fischman in 20 minutes. So it depends where you're at, you could try to make there and back in a lunch hour. I've haven't tried it yet. Though if I recall, they haven't had Zombie Dust in a while.
