So after just trading for and having my first ever Zombie Dust I think I've become addicted. My partner at work is heading from NJ to Colombus OH in the next couple weeks. Can anyone confirm if it is readily available there, spots to send him etc.? Any input is GREATLY appreciated!

If not available there, is it easy to score at the Three Floyds Brewpub...I'll probably end up taking the 738 mile ride if there no other options.

Brew pub or you have to be very lucky in Chicago. It can be had by the case at the brew pub more often than not.

To the OP, the answer is no. OH doesn't receive FFF six packs.

    I cannot confirm.

I can confirm that it is not readily available in Columbus Ohio, and damn near impossible to get in Munster Indiana if your timing is not good!

Thanks for the responses folks! What's the optimal timing... Looks like I'm making a trip out there.

This is an incredibly hard beer to find but I do live in the Chicago area and travel to Columbus regularly to visit family. If I am able to snag some I would happily bring it with me the next time I go.

It's still listed on their brewpub link from 10/23, and a friend picked me up a case Wednesday night. Best bet is to check the website and then call before making the long drive just to make sure they have it.

If you do plan on going to the Brewery/Brewpub call ahead they run out of cases Zombie and Gumballhead pretty fast and you might only get it on tap. You can also check with local beer/wine stores they might have some ZD stock
I am kinda lucky my local seems to get a couple of cases once a week

If anyone local can help hook up a NJ BA by picking up a few cases prior to my trip out there I can gladly repay for your efforts by way of free lunch at the brewpub and whatever locals you'd like from my neck f the woods. That seems more reliable ad friendly than calling ahead and making a blind trip out there with a possibility of coming up short handed.

I was at the brewpub on 10/22 and there was literally a wall of Zombie Dust behind the dude working the carryout sales counter. I would expect the two case limit has helped keep stuff on hand, but hitting early on off peak days probably helps a lot.

I could probably do that if you give me a week or two advance warning. Like others have mentioned, it's hit or miss whether they'll have it or not, but if I have some advance notice, I'm sure I could pick up a case without too much of a problem.

We only get their bombers that I know of. I think unless you are in Chicago, Munster, or the surrounding area there, you will not find Zombie Dust.

ZD is not regularly available in Ohio...unless you're name is Chef S)(*er and you own The Gr**nhouse Tav$rn and N**dlecat in Cleveland and you happen to be have the hook-up with the Floyds, then maybe you can get it (wink).

PS...yes, aforementioned locale did have one keg of ZD a few months back and i was fortunate enough to be dining there when the keg was tapped...it was amazing...i want more...ASAP!!!

Tough for me, I buy the limit and bring the extra to friends.
If I get there with friends next time, I'll see what I can do.

Bodega in Columbus occasionally gets a keg of FFF stuff. They just tapped Jinx Proof last night.

Envelopes is on the money. Bodega had Zombie Dust (plus $5 shrimp and grits!) this summer, and gets FFF as often as anybody in Columbus. Bobs Bar is another one that gets Three Floyds. We don't get 6ers, but bombers are around every so often (more lately). Other places to check for 3 Floyds, Yellow Brick Pizza and Studio 35.
