What's going on with ZD around here? I haven't seen ANY on any shelves anywhere. Granted, I don't like in the best of places, but I was in Bloomington not too long ago and also didn't see any anywhere there either.

I also remember reading that it isn't distributed here besides at their brewpub, but that could've been a troll post or I could just not be remembering right. haha

I only was able to find it at the brewery, $10 a six... beer was great and I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not buying a case or two!

I hope that's not the only way to get it. =[

Also, typo in the OP; "Granted, I don't LIVE in the best of places".

FFF tends to affiliate themselves much more with Chicago than with Indiana. Also, I'm pretty sure kegs make their way around Indiana from time to time, so it's not like going to the brewpub is the only option.

That said, the day FFF is able to keep up with demand for Zombie Dust will be glorious!

because the brewery is in the Chicago metro area, it literally is minutes from the border. It is in the Chicago market so it supplies the Chicago market. They probably just don't see it necessary to distribute to Hammond or Gary if you can just get it at the brewery. It isn't dumb at all. Though they should expand it to WI, seems like it is heading that way.

Agreed with MarkIntihar, there is Zombie dust on tap on the northeast side of Ind at different bars and pubs.

A small keg of ZD actually made it to a bottle shop in Northern KY just a few months ago.

True. Except for the fact that I don't live too far over the border on the Illinois side - due west of FFF - and aside from bombers of Dreadnaught and Arctic Panzer Wolf locating ANY of their beer in Binny's or Kenwood (the two best stores in my area) has been next to impossible.

It had been readily available for a long while - standards like Robert The Bruce, Alpha King, Gumballhead as well as a good selection of specialty bombers - but over the last year or so it seems their Illinois distribution has changed for the worst.

At least the brewpub is close - and my wife works just down the road - so I can't complain too much.

Any idea where it's currently on tap? I had it a few weeks ago at Ale emporium, but they were charging $6 for a snifter, which is ridiculous.

Party Town in Florence. They didn't ever actually have it on the growler station. They only had a ``mini-keg'' (not sure exactly what it's called) so to make sure as many people could try it as possible they gave out samples at their weekly $2 beer flights and sold pre-filled quart growlers ($6 each).

I like that place. i am actually the driver that distributes fff. they actually got a 1/2 barrel of it but prob told the customers they only had a small amount. Their beer guy jeff hooked me up with half gallon growler of it right when i delivered it! Hence the reason i like that place!

Drove ~3hrs primarily to get some Zombie Dust today but apparently they just sold out. Website said they had it and I called the pub late last night and they had it. Pretty frustrating.....
