Zombie Dust in WI?

Zombie Dust is a great beer but I'm not going to take the time to drive around town picking up singles of it.

 

This shipment of ZD musta been real tiny or something, last time Whole Foods had a bunch of cases and well this time nothing at all. Also I still have yet to see a store sell Pt5th 4 packs or even singles this year.

 

Thanks for the tip - grabbed one 6-pack of ZD and a 4-pack of Dirtwolf this morning. Hard to know how much ZD they have left as it is stashed away in their back room.

 

No Zombie Dust left at Discount in Waukesha. Employee said they sold out this morning.

 

Went to Discount Milwaukee today. They were unpacking cases of Dirtwolf. Did I make a huge mistake passing it up? There were only about 4 sixers of Hopslam left so I grabbed that instead. The manager said this first batch was going to be limited but they expect to see more soon.

 

Happened to stroll across 5 single bottles of Zombie Dust at Woodman's in Madison today. Can't pass up 1.67$ a bottle.

I was told 30 more cases arrived in Milwaukee. Going out on Monday.

 

So they'll actually get distributed by the following Monday, maybe if we're lucky

 

30 more cases eh? Nice, hope this means I can finally have a 6-pack in the fridge.

 

Discount will get the bulk of them, I'll bet. Ray's will get a few cases, but hang onto them for a "beer day" TBD. Downer will get an unknown quantity but parse them out from the basement 1 bottle at a time.

Whole Foods & Woodman's are probably the best bet. Although the Woodman's up North doesn't seem to get as much good stuff as the one in Waukesha. There ought to be a few kegs out around town, too.

Has Comet down Zombie Slam yet this year?

turned some down today. I'll let others who haven't had it try it.

 

I heard the information through my dad who has a friend at Beer Capital.

 

I think they did the Zombie Slam already, but I haven't been paying attention, heh. Probably will try Whole Foods, since I can walk there, hopefully they get the goods.

 

Am I nuts or have more bars been getting kegs of ZD more regularly?

 

I could say it seems like it, but I haven't actually had/seen it at a bar in a while..
