Zombie Dust...?

It's year-round now, but kind of tough to get your hands on (limited distro) unless you go to the pub. That said I don't think you'll encounter anyone ransoming it...great extra beer.

 

Yeah in our area you can only by it in the city of Chicago no suburb distro. If you want any mot then a 6 Pack a month you'll need to go to the source.

 

Nope, I'm here at Mainstreet in Countryside and we've gotten 20 cases the last 3 weeks in a row. If it's an easier drive for ya, come see us!

EDIT: We also allow you to take up to a full case, including a 10% discount for doing so.

 

Really we get none here in the north burbs.

 

According to our Glunz guy, we're one of 10 stores in the state that get any at all.

 

Here in Michigan, I am planning a nice 2 1/2 hr drive for it this summer. Caint wait!!!

 

For a couple cases of this gem? Worth it.

 

Yeah, I don't think that's a bad drive at all! Only half a day once it's all said and done. Good tunes on a nice drive for GREAT beer? It's a win win situation!

 

I was lucky enough to have my buddy pick me up two cases from the brewpub on his way home from KY. An excellent beer, a must try!

 

We still have not seen any in bottles down here in the Southern part of the state but it was fantastic on tap

 

Neither has anywhere else in Indiana

 

It seems that FFF has been really pumping ZD out lately. A ton of places in the city of Chicago and suburbs have it on tap right now. Several stores around the city have had multiple cases delivered in the past week or two.

My guess is that stores in the suburbs and NW Indiana should start seeing it here and there in the near future. Not like it's plentiful now, but I had heard that the lack of availability of Citra hops played a role in the extreme shortage of ZD in the recent past.

 

Definitely CALL AHEAD before you plan a trip especially if it is specifically for ZD. They do have it much more often at the brewpub than at any liquor stores, but it usually sells out within a day of being in stock. Once or twice a month, and gone in a day. In my opinion the pub is worth the drive anyway, but I hate to see you expecting ZD and not getting it.

 

Before they ran out a couple of days ago it had been on sale at the pub for weeks...I made the drive for cases a couple of weeks apart. The older batches sold out in a day or two, but it seems they are producing more and more each batch.

*edit* Still worth calling ahead if you're making a 2+hr trek. They are really good about updating their to-go list on the brewpub web menu as well. *double edit* They have it again.

Even in Chicago proper it's damn hard to find. I've only ever seen it personally on-tap, and I live in the city.
