Just noticed Cantillon's FB post about this. This will be my first time in Belgium for Zwanze. How crazy is Cantillon on the day? Hours and hours in line? Might it actually be better to go somewhere else?
Well, there is no Zwanze event on the brewery that day. But yes, there is a lot of people going to Cantillon day time and then zwanze event on the evening.
Well I'll conveniently be in Brussels that weekend. I suppose I should look into going. From looking at old threads, tickets are bought from both Moeder Lambic locations in person only?
Last year, the Zwanze date was posted in June, but the location list wasn't posted until August. Every location is different...some advertise early and some don't. I'd take a look at last year's list (just go further down the old fb posts) and start figuring out where you want to go for the event. Contact them directly and they will probably tell you if/when you can try to sign up.
