Does anyone have any idea how this is going to be set up? I've seen no info from Redlight and have no idea of the time it starts. Maybe I just need to get better at searching the interwebs.

Haven't seen anything on their FB in awhile. Really looking forward to this one as Redlight is <5 mi from my house. Hoping its an earlier tapping like some of the others so I can catch some football.

Just called them today, it will be a ticketed event. You will have to choose between one pour of Zwanze or Fou Foune. You may not have both and only one pour of the one you select. There will be other special beers on tap, but that's the info so far. Apparently these are Cantillon's rules. $6 per pour.

    First rule of Cantillon...

I'll split my pour of one if someone will split their pour of the other...

I can't wait to see which Cantillon bottles they have--hopefully something special. Seeing some of the lists already out for the other select bars in the states has me really excited to see what else Redlight will tap. I also love how Cantillon tries to ensure that everything is priced reasonably--really classy. Couldn't be happier this is coming to central Fl in just a week.

Redlight can't pour until 5pm due to zoning restrictions. They'll also be debuting Patte du Singe, their collab. with Saint Somewhere. Bottles only. Brewed with tamarind and sage.

Hey folks—I'd like to come to this Zwanze Day event and am planning on getting a ticket today, but I'm curious what kind of a scene it will be. I'm from out of state (moved to central FL about six weeks ago, but moving away in a few more weeks) so I haven't been to Redlight before, and don't know anyone in the area.

Should I anticipate this being a zoo? Will there be any merch for sale, that kind of thing? Really don't know what to expect, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

Redlight can only hold 250 or so people inside due to code, but can easily hold more. As for what to expect the day of the event, I do anticipate the place to have a line before the 5pm. For example, three weeks ago they had DH120 on tap, per the bartender there was a line before they opened up at 5 and they ran out of DH120 approximately 2 1/2 hours after opening. A similar scenario happened a couple of weeks ago with White Oak Jai Alai.
Parking isn't the greatest, but take a look at their facebook page for a picture that shows the layout of the parking.
Will it be a zoo, not sure, but I'm going to lean towards yes. I will be swinging by Redlight to purchase my ticket sometime during the week and will get more info for Saturday.
I'm not sure which way you are coming from, but if you are getting off I-4 to get to RL, I suggest you exit at the Ivanhoe exit and avoid Colonial Drive if you can as it tends to be busy during the weekend.

Coming down from Jacksonville with a few buddies and was wondering if bottle sharing was allowed inside. Wanted to bring some nice beers to share with everyone, but knowing it will be a bit crazy I may hold off. Anyone else planning on bringing anything?

Yes, I also wanted to know about bottle sharing as I was planning on bringing a few of my own.

I have only once brought a few bottles to share with a friend of mine. The head bartender gave the ok, but to keep it low key. My friend ended up sharing all that we had with the bartender and we had no issues all night. We did do this on a non special release event. May want to call and I suggest you speak with Teague.

Just called and got my tickets. Sounds like the bottles (which will be sold by glass) that they'll have will be pretty sweet as well.

Yeah I got mine on Monday. Did they tell you what they'll be pouring from the bottle? I know CCB is supposed to bring over some casks.

Specifically Classic Gueze, Kriek and a third that I can't remember for the life of me. Forgot to ask about bringing bottles to share.

I called and the guy I spoke with said it would be fine and sharing with the staff is encouraged. Sounds like as long as you do not get crazy then bringing bottles to share is fine.
