    Here's the link to Avenue's Zwanze event, although I remember getting more than two choices last year. I was also the dummy who thought I could purchase a new ticket to go back and try the other beers. Good news is they have plenty to sell by the glass afterwards.

    Really odd that their facebook postings were not as up to date as their website. Normally you would see the opposite.

    Dang, hoping it wouldn't be that bad but obviously I should know better if all of chicago beer geekdom will be there. Is the zwanze pour free or do you pay for that?

    Can anyone tell me whether or not Navare res gives away a glass? I know some places do and some places only allow you to use the glass on location. Thanks

    We haven't been told yet if we are getting glassware for this year.by " we" I mean the Zwanze bars. Not just me:wink:

    The event was ticketed. The $40 ticket included a pour of the Zwanze.

    Just kidding (mostly), the more the merrier. But it will sell out early.

    I still have my Zwanze ticket from avenue pub last year. It was $18 for 3 pours, but you could buy most beers by the glass anyway, so I saved the ticket for the rarer beers. If you got a ticket, you were almost certain to get a pour of zwanze. I'm assuming with the anticipated greater turnout this year, the number of ticketed pours is being lowered.

    Just the locations.
